Something that didn't go through centuries of obvious human construction and manipulation. It would be impervious to corruption, infallible, consistent with everything else in history, and reality. And hopefully, it would be good.
Yes. I don't think something as important as religion should be left up to interpretation. There is too much needless suffering that results from the way it is. And if you pick the wrong one...maybe trillions of years of suffering.
